cb!Apo headcanons- 

cb!Apo would often get into a lot of trouble when she lived in Pity. They had spent plenty of time in the jail cell overnight. She was never seen as a bad person, just a troublemaker who happened to find herself at the wrong place at the wrong time. The sheriff would often try to give her good advice. Unfortunately for him, Apo has a short attention span and would get distracted very easily.

Scenerios-

Apo got locked out of their house one time after her dad had gone off mining without her again. After a couple tries of trying to get in, she gave up and decided to wander around town for a bit. There wasn’t much light out, so she grabbed a small lit lantern from outside. They wandered around Pity for a bit, trying to see if anyone was awake. Suddenly she got startled by a giant spider that jumped in front of her. They impulsively threw the lantern at the spider. She missed and it hit the nearby building instead. The lantern broke and ended up setting off a small fire. Apo rushed to find a nearby water source to put it out. The sheriff overheard the commotion and went to see what was going on. He found Apo desperately trying to put out a spreading fire. He helped her put it out. Apo was forced to spend two nights in jail for setting fire to a building. 

One time there was a small festival in town. Apo had been excited to finally have something fun going on in Pity. She visited every stall and did every free activity going on. At some point they entered a small shop filled with all kinds of treats. She explored for a bit. She grabbed a candy apple she wanted to try but then realized she had no money on her. They were about to put it back, when suddenly there was a big commotion outside. Apo rushed outside to see what was happening and completely forgot to put the candy apple back. The commotion had just been a performing act. Apo, not noticing she still had the candy apple in her hands, went about her day. After a couple minutes she realized she still had the candy apple. They were too embarrassed to go back and return it, so in a moment of panic, Apo decided to just eat the evidence. Meanwhile the shop keeper had seen her walk away with the candy apple without paying for it. He reported her to the Sheriff, who quickly realized who it was. The Sheriff caught her red handed with half the apple already eaten. Since Apo had no money to pay for it, she was forced to spend one night in the jail cell. Apo promised never to steal again. (Apo broke that promise the day they met Cherri). 

One time Apo had been forced to join in on one of her dads' scams. Her dad had not told her much about the plan since he believed she would just mess it up. Apo tried their best to play their part and had been doing well. The people her dad was trying to scam caught on to what was going on and called out Sal and Apo. Their dad bolted without warning and managed to get away. Apo was left in a moment of shock for a second before bolting as well. Since Apo had been closer, the scammed people chased after her and managed to grab her. Before they could do anything, the Sheriff showed up. He had Apo spend a night in jail. (Apo promised to herself to try to avoid being involved in any more of her dad’s scams after that.)

One time Apo had been chatting with her friends when the conversation shifted to what they thought about the mayor. Apo made a remark about not liking the mayor's hat and thinking it was dumb. Unfortunately, the mayor had been close by and heard everything. He did not like his hat being talked about in a negative way, so he told the sheriff to make her spend a night in the jail cell. Apo spent the whole night in the jail cell being lectured about respecting the mayor's hat. Ever since then Apo has always been paranoid that the mayor is around whenever they start talking about him. They are always double checking their surroundings to make sure he is not around. 

 One time Apo had been hanging out with 4C, when suddenly some jerks came to bother them. Apo didn’t say much when they were talking about her, but the second they started talking badly about 4C she kicked them in the kneecaps. The jerks were not happy and started fighting her. 4C joined in to help Apo, who was very much panicking. The Sheriff intervened after a bit and separated them. Apo was the one who got into the most trouble since they were the ones who initiated the physical fight. Apo spent an afternoon in the jail cell. 

One time, during April fools, Apo decided to play a small prank on the town. They thought it would be kind of funny to release some of the horses in the stables into town to wander around. What she did not expect was that the horses were going to cause a big ruckus and make a mess. It took forever to wrangle the horses and put them back into their stalls. Some of the towns folk had seen her release the horses, so they told the Sheriff about it. Apo got into big trouble and had to spend the night in a jail cell.
