Day 4 Quick Review From Practice 1,Practice 2 and Practice 3 the foundation is starting to become normal and you may even start to see and feel how your breath really can help. If this is not the case for you, do not worry as it will come. Being consistent will bring about the realisation that meditation is not that hard to do and it really can work. When you take CBD, you may not fully understand how or why it works but after a while, you won't care, as the only thing that matters is a positive feeling and affects you get from taking it. If you are moving onto this stage you will have managed to master the first 3 parts. You understand and the importance of the simple things and you realise how your breath is so important. You can always improve on these stages and you will over time if you keep at it. The next phase is about mindfulness. Mindfulness Here we are adding another link in the chain. We must not forget about the other parts, especially the breathing so keep this in mind. Here we are trying to be in the moment. This may sound a bit odd to you however try to think of this as self-control. If you only ever master the first 4 steps of this it is my opinion you will have made massive improvements in your life. Are you that person who just does or says things without thinking? Are you that person who gets worked up about stuff that has not even happened yet? Maybe your mind is always racing or you are always waiting for the person to finish talking so you can say your piece? Practice Makes Perfect By practicing this you will be able to slow down the above processes and be able to live in the moment. You will learn to feel the negative feelings and thoughts in a more constructive manner without judgment. As I said before one of the arts of meditation is catching yourself not thinking about what you should be thinking about and returning to that thought or the breath.
