Covering a #panhandling story. Do you feel sorry for panhandlers? Or see them as a nuisance? The Supreme Court ruled panhandling a form of free speech in 2015. Complaints are high in the area.... but essentially nothing can be done about them. They’ve popped up all over Jonesboro that I’ve seen.... For my report, I talked with the police dept, the mayor, a homeless man, and a volunteer to gain some perspective.
