Project-based learning is an approach in which all the subjects are integrated. A main concept is chosen from the curriculum and further divided into subtopics. The students are divided into five or six groups, each assigned a topic. Students learn these concepts through various strategies such as flip teaching, panel discussion, role play, integrating art and ICT skills etc., which led to developing 21st-century skills and experiential learning. For Grade VIII, the PBL topic selected was Energy Resources. Students did intense research on the given topic and then successfully and marvellously displayed their topics through various modes, such as PPT presentation, models, panel discussions, street plays etc., in front of the parents. Hence, rightly proving that learning should go beyond textbooks, and in this process, the students acquired 21st-century skills essential for successful learning.
