Getting these out took me so long oh boy! First I needed a cooling off period to have fresher eyes (noticed a couple of booboos I fixed in that time), then I wanted to wait for SFS until posting. But now. The time is now. Let’s go.
Okay well go and go, we’ll be going slowly because I have a wall of text waiting for you under the read more! It took me a week to write this whole post so give at least the credit list a look before downloading, and definitely the rest of it too before sending me questions! :D
The features are a collection of my personal forever favorites from makeup and other skintones that I frankensteined together and then tweaked further. Nostrils and inner eyecorners are the exact right amount of pixels apart from each other, lipcorners and the area under the nose are just the right shade of simulated shadow, and so on. You get the idea: I took my time to make these for me. I paid a lot of attention to what I care about (faces) and a little less to things (bodies) I’ll get back to later on with V2.
Default tones follow Maxis originals, check the swatch for what’s what.I also included Alien (S5) and Mannequin, but no other supernaturals for now.
I’m not fully in love with the bodies, consider them a these’ll do beta version until a more polished v2 within the next five years. Whenever I de-burnout from this round!
The custom packages have been geneticized to fit the Maxis genetic range. If you don’t like it, it’s easy to change or undo in SimPE: just look for Skintone XML inside the package, change the value Genetic to 0 for custom, and hit commit and save.
Extras are recolors of my Whysim 44 heavy eyelid shadows to match tones S4, S4.5 and Alien. I have epicanthic folds matching the entire range in my wips as well, so those’ll come one day too.
That might be it for now. As always, everything’s been compressorized. Be kind, and no off-brand dickery on my lawn ok? Ok.
Hey if anyone still remembers this thing I have with wide hips and the rest, the first part of my Anatomy V2 + Edited Meshes Directory is now live on my Dreamwidth! Incidentally, I’m gonna go die a little!
(I’ll add a picture to this post once I’m done with that)
Time to finally release this one into the wild! It’s the M&G hair with bad bones I’ve been battling on and off for a few years now, and while I didn’t get it entirely perfect, it’s probably as good as it’s going to get. The hair still sinks into shoulder blades a little in the back (not as much as it originally does, those two years of waffling over the bone assignments didn’t go entirely to waste), but at least it’s now delightfully swooshy. Ok! Got a bunch of required reading for you about it on top of this novel here, go!
fhLongBangsEP09:
First off, I recommend this hair fix that relinks the ages to each other no matter what you get (or don’t)!
The hair is cf-ef, custom version comes in my usual swatch of eight plus one grey, default swatch is above.
There are two versions of the default: one with just the mesh fix, and the second with textures included. Pick one!
All of it’s been compressorized, the custom retextures binned and familied. Here’s a turnaround of the mesh/textures.
Hi! Can you made afbottomshortskirtshoes default replacement on this post/173510162755/afb-short-skirt-heels-everyday-skirt-for-af?
Hey. I’ve got that actually as my own default already but can’t remember if I used someone else’s default package as a quick and dirty personal use base (in which case it would overlap with whatever mesh was used in that other default I hijacked) or if I did it from the ground up? It’s not dangerous if the former, just makes it the culprit if some other mesh in your downloads potentially changes shape.
With that warning, here you go. Compressed and everything else in the original post applies.
These come only as defaults, as I wanted some simple changes to what my townies wear in colder climates and I don’t really need double custom versions of these personally. Not a choice that might suit other people but it happens. Feel free to turn these custom, or otherwise hack, slash, and pick apart.
I recolored the original textures to be more earthy and reshaped the shoes on the meshes: not a pastel or abnormally tiny EA feet kinda gal. Require Seasons EP or the Ultimate Edition. The meshes have both morphs. Compressorized stuff.
uffb snowbunny: the package includes both teen and adult female versions; they use the same textures to save space. Any separate teen defaults of snowbunny will conflict, unless you manually remove the teen files inside the package, making it just for adults that way. Go wild with that floating boat.

affb trenchcoat: this one’s just for adult women. I used katananicolai’s coat recolors (a classic!), added tights and a shirt, and worked a little on the boots here as well. Feel a bit like not adding gloves was a missed opportunity, but I always forget to wear any myself so ehh. That’s realism for you.
