I fell in love with these 4t2 conversions by @tvickiesims at first sight and just had to make functional versions.
When your sim manages to catch butterflies or fireflies, they can be moved from the jar to this habitat. Insects housed in the habitat will stay alive; if the habitat is outdoors, they will hibernate if the temperature drops below freezing.
Each habitat can house 3 batches of butterflies and 3 batches of fireflies, counted separately. You can make space for new batches by releasing the insects from the habitat.
The caterpillar incubator provides an alternate way to get butterflies. Stocking the incubator costs Β§18, after which you can watch the caterpillars evolve into adult butterflies over the following days.
Be cautious about leaving adult butterflies in the incubator, as they won't survive there forever. The butterflies can be either moved to a habitat or released into the wild.
If an incubator is outdoors and the temperature drops below freezing, the metamorphosis will stop progressing, unless it's already finished, in which case the adult butterflies will die.
Sims can view occupied incubators and habitats, autonomously too. Cats might find them interesting as well. About everything gives nature enthusiasm, and all interactions are available children up.
π¦ Download (SFS) (alternate)
The files are compressed. Requires Pets and Seasons. The incubator won't work if you don't have the habitat in your downloads as well.
The habitat is a global mod that includes overrides for the bug jar and will conflict with other mods that alter the same resources, so please run HCDU. These can be used alongside Vickie's original conversions.
Known conflicts:
- Cleaning autonomy tweaks by @ashtonlc3. The habitat will only work if it loads after the autonomy tweaks.
Many thanks to Vickie for letting me use her gorgeous conversions, and to @gummilutt for the help with testing!
Update (30.6.2026): Fixed an error from the jar interaction.
hello everyone, on the twentieth day of this advent collab I am bringing you the most boring preview picture you will see this December! eleven new custom face sliders!
Here, you will find the following sliders, available in both bodyshop and CAS:
cheekbone width
cheekbone length
jawline squareness
upper lip area width
nose fold rotation (V1 and V2)
nose vertical length
nose tip length
nose bridge shape (V1 and V2)
broken nose
GET 'EM HERE!
Massive thank you to @angelapleasant for getting this whole event together (you've done a fantastic job!) and to all the other creators who have both been and whose days are yet to come :D
preview pictures explaining as to which slider does what under the cut
Slider #1: cheekbone width
Self explanatory really, makes the cheekbones wider (but not deeper, nor taller). A bit like that one maxis slider but without any brow adjustment
Slider #2: cheekbone height
Makes the cheekbones longer or shorter on the y axis
Slider #3: jawline squareness
Affects the back of the jaw, changes the width without changing the chin or cheek width (unlike the maxis equivalents)
Slider #4: Upper lip width
The name's a bit confusing, it doesn't affect the upper lip but the area immediately above the upper lip, below the nose (I did look to see if it had an official name but that search sadly didn't turn up much). It's a little hard to see in the screenshot, but it makes this area wider or narrower.
Slider #5: nose fold rotation V1
This changes the angle of the nasal folds, rotating them up and down (as I've poorly tried to demonstrate in the screenshot). V1 affects a smaller area than V2, not really affecting any polygons around the mouth
Slider #6: nose fold rotation V2
Does the same thing as V1 nose fold rotation, but affects a larger area - this one moves more polys, including some near the mouth (despite the screenshots I swear they're different!). I only intended to make one slider for this, but couldn't decide which to keep so you get both :D
Slider #7: nose length
This slider makes the nose longer and shorter on the face, but in a different way to maxis' slider for the same thing in that the whole nose is stretched, centered in the middle of the nose, not just the nose tip moving up and down. (please ignore the clipping on the brow! the furthest point on the slider was too much for this guy's face but works fine on others)
Slider #8: nose tip length
like the maxis nose length slider, but only affects the tip of the nose
Slider #9: nose bridge shape V1
Makes the top of the nose bridge narrow and the nose tip wide, or the top of the bridge wide and the tip narrow, forming a triangular shape
Slider #10: nose bridge shape V2
Like slider #9, but affects only the nose bridge and not the nose tip, making it taper inwards our outwards from the top.
Slider #11: broken nose
forms a curve on the nose bridge off to the left, or off to the right, a bit like what you might get if your sim broke their nose
---
phew, that's all of them! hopefully these are ones that haven't been done before (I didn't previously have any of these, anyway), and that you might find at least some of these useful :D
As always, if you spot any issues, please let me know and I'll try and fix it asap.
I should've made a nice even number to make the first preview a bit nicer haha
Not gonna lie, converting these took a while since I've already kinda forgotten everything I have to pay attention to while converting so there was a lot of tweaking done, but I still couldn't fix some visible hard edges near the hairline in hairs 1,2 & 4 (mostly visible on blond), and there are some gaps in areas between the forehead and the hair in hairs 1 & 2. While converting the mesh they weren't there but i guess the fault lies in the bone assignment for the animated hair, yet I just couldn't figure it out in the end. Please let me know if these issues are annoying - I'll try to fix them again but for now I'm still satisfited with the results :D. Also let me know if there are some other issues with these conversions that I didn't spot myself.

Hello everyone! I'm back with some self indulgent conversions that have been rotting in my wips for months.
First of all we have 4t2 xiuminuwu's "in my baggy" jeans paired with mossylane's chunky converse edit, for masculine sims =)
Download -> SFS
AM-TM | Casual | Thin & Fat morph | 14 swatches | ~2000 poly
And here's the shirt I converted to go with the jeans!
4t2 Xiuminuwu's impossible layered t-shirt
I am so exited to post this new convertion! It's one of my faaaaaavorite dresses from miiko, I absolutely adore it and I am happy I finally can share it with you β€οΈ
So this is the Vintage Summer Dress and the Eva Flower Crown, both by @miikocc , and I combined the dress with the Thumbelina flats shoes converted by @jacky93sims, I added to the shoes the cute roses that are on the top of the dress (I really love how cute they are with the roses π) and reduced a little the pointy part (I fixed has well the feet mesh and the UV), I added an extra white color to the dress, it's perfect has a cottage wedding dress has well!
β οΈWarning: The Flower Crown is 19552! polys If you play on low settings it might cause issues and crash, I tested on my game (I play with everything on max) and didn't have any issues but if you have let me know! The flowers are actually low poly itself, it's just the amount of flowers in the crown that elevate the number.

I was supposed to post it for the advent calendar but december was really busy to me and had to delay. I hope you all had a wonderfull christmas and new year!
Thank you all for your support, it really means alot to meβ€οΈ
Have you ever wanted some utilities to make your houses look more realistic? Well, I really did, so I converted SIXAM's Home Improvements set; it's 49 objects in total! π οΈ You'll have lots of things to decorate your basements, garages, bathrooms or backyards. I tried to make as many objects functional as I could, and kept a deco version too, so you can pick and choose.
This was a massive undertaking, took me MONTHS, but I'm glad I did it, and boy am I glad to be done with it too π
You can find the original Sims 4 set here, by SIXAMcc. A collection file is included in the download for convenience. Itβs also low poly and basegame compatible. Also lots of credits !!
Full object list and extra previews are waiting under the cut β
Onto the technicals. There's a lot of info, but the most important is in the blockquote below. Everything you need should be included in the folder.
β οΈ You'll need Midge's Custom Alarm for the Burglar Alarm to work, which I included in the download. You'll also need to keep the craftable objects for the Workbench in your download folder.
You can have every Deco and Functional object in your game at the same time βΌοΈ You can pick and choose what you want.
π§ The Water Pipe Large is repo'd to the Thin one and the Gas Pipe Horizontal is repo'd to the Vertical one. The Drain 02 is repo'd to Drain 01.
There's a working Faucet I cloned from this one by @jacky93sims (you can't wash babies with it). The AC Split & AC Mini Split π¨π¨ are also cloned from her Air Conditioner and are repo'd to each other. They're based on Simlogical Air Conditioning, which regulates a room's temperature. You can read the details here.
The Tank Water heater & Tankless Heater are cloned from @lordcrumps' For Rent conversion here. They should act like solar panels βοΈ and take money off your bills, like his do.
π οΈ The Workbench is cloned from @deedee-sims' functional Woodworking Bench. I've included her craftable objects in the folder, you'll need them for the Workbench to work.
I modified the Workbench Table to work as a Computer Desk, and shortened the Stool so it could be sat upon. Both work well together.
Finding the correct category for each item was driving me insane. If you want to change the category, I recommend using Pick'N'Mix Object Relocator. It's very easy to use! If you load the objects first in-game, you'll get previews to help you sort them out in the relocator.
You do need a copy of LordCrumpβs Shadow Files for the shadows to work though, but I have included a copy in the zip, as always.
All items found under βBuy Mode β Collections β Home Improvementsβ (included .collection file)
