Im curious! When you wrote Territory Voice and Choice were you inspired Nightvales particular sex practices or did you write it before you knew? Its just alot of ABO fics ive read would have a ‘you have too sign a contract before sex’ type deal and its just interesting that nightvale naturally has this. (Also this story is definitely a fave of mines one of my rereads for sure)

I mean, I was definitely aware of them. I read It Devours! which probably goes into the most detail on the subject. It didn’t really inform the way ABO works in that fic though; I was following the “okay how can i make this logic work” track more than anything.

Oh no, the contest was in... late December, I believe? Of 2019. And then Epiphany first dropped to the Patreon on Valentine’s Day of this year, which was wild. I posted on Twitter about it at the time! But my activity on Tumblr is patchy at best so this is the most I’ve talked on Tumblr about it.

Hi my sister and i got the book and we stared theorizing over whats the chance marco's family may be mewman royalty since the captian photo found in his house that supposedly spoke to him(bloodmoon) and the captian that was eclipsa's father seem so similar ( we may be streaching here but it seems suspicious to us what do u think?)

Alphonse The Worthy, Eclipsa’s father, IS the sea captain seen in Blood Moon Ball! But that picture was in Star’s room, not Marco’s, and Sweet Dreams revealed that it’s part of a series of secret passages that Eclipsa used in the past, so it has nothing to do with Marco. Why it spoke to him, and if that’s going to be explained in the near future, I don’t know.

Marco’s cheekmarks might connect him to the Butterfyl family in some way, sure, but- Festivia wasn’t a real Butterfly but she developed cheekmarks due to exposure to magic- the Blood Moon bond between Star and Marco is almost certainly involved, as Marco referenced “souls being connected” just before using the wand, and it’s a much more logical explanation than a human on Earth with multi ethnic heritage being somehow related to Mewmans

see i tried to play Control but the fucking teeny-weeny-eyestrain-o-vision of the lore documents put me off. i heard he reads everything aloud when streaming, so i went to see if i could start watching but even the oldest video is p far into the game. sigh.
