we’ll be okay
( @ccdoyoung )
he usually doesn’t bleed this much. if anything good has come out of remembering the first timeline, it’s the fact that to some extent, jongin knows how to work his spear in battle. yet he still isn’t as skilled at battling as he’d like to be. their enemy this time isn’t as easy as the last few ones have been though and it takes a lot out of jongin to even stand as he ends the monster, with doyoung by his side.
jongin still considers himself lucky for not blacking out on the spot. the moment the monster is defeated he falls flat to the floor, his arms covered in blood and his legs in pain. “oh my god,” he breaths, gripping onto his arm. the wound isn’t as deep as it seems but it does hurt and it has jongin wincing as he attempts to stand up, his legs wobbly.
yet his thoughts immediately go to doyoung and his eyes widen as he turns to his card. “are you alright?” he asks, disregarding the blood on his own arm. “did the monster injure you? do you have any wounds?” he shifts slightly to get a better look at doyoung, still worried.
