After coming home from Templecon, I am sick, yes. But I am also invigorated. I had such a good time, met so many wonderful people, and played so many new games that I can't help but feel inspired to finish my own.
So in that vein I've spent the last few days working on some bottom-up design to fill in some holes in the initial card pool of that Superhero card game I've been working on. It's at 88 cards now, not enough for any kind of release, but enough to really start testing it and figuring out balance.
I've also started to look into ways to easilly prototype cards into a printable format. Excel is clunky unfortunately. But I found a program online that is expressly for this purpose. So hopefully I'll be able to start doing that tomorrow or Friday.
There are some rules that still need better wording, and some graphical things to start thinking about, but I'm really enjoying how this is going.
Hopefully I'll have another initial playtest soon.
