#rp via @koenigseggautomotive Throwback Sunday... Nostalgia - The 2005 Koenigsegg CCGT. Built according to the GT1 regs. Unfortunately just after the car was finished the GT1 class evaporated and was closed down. A real shame as the first track testing of the CCGT looked very competitive. As the regs limited engine output to just over 600 HP with restrictors, meant that there was no need for turbos, in order to keep weight and complexity to a minimum. Car weighed in at 980 kg which meant we could put 120 kg of ballast in the perfect position for weight distribution in order to reach the minimum weight of 1100 kg. #ccgt #koenigsegg #na #competetive #lightweight
