For once couldn’t people just listen to her? She sighs, shaking her head. “There’s no TIME for that. Get going!” This other Judy was just as stubborn as her, Which was proving to be a bad thing, at this very moment. They needed to move, quickly. Who knew what would happen if they stayed still for to long.

“Alright fine, compromise. Drag me somewhere safe and then keep running.”

          there’s a certain amount of willpower that keeps people from laughing at the little things in life. like people tripping over their own feet or someone calling their best friend the wrong name. nick possessed not even one ounce of this willpower, so there was nothing keeping him from giving judy a sly look as the rabbit ended the muzzle time session with her parents.

“Huh?!” The tap to his shoulder practically makes the rabbit jump a few feet in the air. He had been so deep in thought (and had his headphones in) that he didn’t notice anyone until the contact. He turns his head, pulling his headphones out of his ears. “Oh, Judy. Sista - Ya nearly scared the daylights outta me.”

Oh. Wait. This was wrong. “Hey-- I was supposed ta be the one surprisin’ you!” He huffs. He was going to go over to the ZPD and surprise her-- he shouldn’t have told his parents that he was leaving early, they were probably being worrywarts like always and told Judy to meet him at the new time

Claire swiftly slid into the booth opposite the other woman, her porcelain features a perfect mask of stoicism. Once they made eye contact, though, her face melted into a saccharine smile .

“That man sitting at the bar over there doesn’t quite understand the word ‘no’,” she explained with mock cheer. “So I decided that we’re old friends getting together for our high school reunion. Bottoms up!” 

She drained her drink.

he chewed on his bottom lip as his phone's automated voice told him directions. he made a left before narrowing his eyes at the rabbit beside him. she was right; he should have just listened to her and pulled over to ask the turtle for directions. he sighed in frustration,

"okay, i get it, you were right i was wrong. i thought i'd be able to navigate through these streets, but i've never been familiar with tundratown." he growled under his breath, pulling over to the side of the road as he waited for his phone to load. hopefully somebody passed by and was willing to help them.

                she knows that she’s been mopey for days - WEEKS maybe. she knows she’s not her usual self. & she hates it. she doesn’t like it one bit. she doesn’t want other people to worry about her, & being a MOPEY BUNNY kind of signals the ‘ come help me ‘ beacon.

       she’s tried to go about her normal day, act like nothing is wrong, & so far it had seemed to be working, besides the occasional CONCERNED glance. but nick saw. she could  n e v e r get things like this past him. emotional bunnies & all that.

                but that didn’t mean she couldn’t TRY.

       ❛ what ? me ? i’m fine, nick. PERFECTLY okay. are those strawberries ? ❜

                    he closed his eyes and heaved a heavy sigh. how pathetic.                     she's going to lie even though they both clearly know that he                     knows things aren't okay. he glanced at the small jar of                     strawberries he brought for her and nodded in reply, ❛ yeah— ❜                     paws reaching over the jar he looked at it's contents and smiled                     a little. ❛ i was out to get some blueberries but the keeper said                     it was sold out so i took some strawberries instead. ❜ he loved                     strawberries just as much he loved blueberries.

                    he walked towards the other and sat beside her. he held the jar                     and placed it on his lap. ❛ you know, carrots, it's useless to say                     you're fine. you know that. ❜ although he won't pressure her in                     telling him what's wrong. ❛ i just want to help you, but you don't                     have to tell me right away. ❜ a melancholic smile upon his lips as                     he handed her the jar.
