“Sakura, Syaoran and The Hug”

Headcanon where Sakura was so pissed and mad so she accidentally blurted out the word "bastard" yes, the pure sweet cinnamon Sakura said "bastard" and Syaoran blames himself for putting up a bad image as her boyfriend but kinda proud at some point, idk. "This is all my damn fault because I'm that useless brat who spats nasty crappy things with my Sakura around and shit!" he says and Tomoyo is just like, "Your words prove a lot Li-kun."

Well, episode 21 of Clear Card just dropped and I have way too many feelings about it, but I absolutely had to make a post about a little detail that I almost missed that, if I’m right about it, is too goddamn wholesome.

VERY MINOR EPISODE 21 SPOILERS AHEAD. NOT REALLY PLOT-RELEVANT BUT EPISODE 21 SPOILERS NONETHELESS.

When Touya and Fujitaka were having their little chat, Touya offers up some sweets for them to share.

Yum! A delicious assortment of 8 sweets!

Since Touya has reserved four for Sakura, Fujitaka takes two, as does Touya.

A little bit later, Fujitaka reveals that, even though he’s not 100% sure on what’s going on, he’s always been aware that something has been happening around Sakura since the very beginning. This surprises Touya, who basically knows everything himself(even if Sakura and Kero aren’t aware). What’s the most touched-on thing that Touya has always been aware of?

Kero.

I propose that, not only did Touya set aside four sweets for Sakura because he knew she’d split them with Kero, giving each of them two, but Fujitaka was on some level aware of Kero as well (even if just “well, Sakura has something that’s going through more groceries than usual since all this started”), and knew that his and Touya’s portions should be two each and asked for as much.

So basically, Touya and Fujitaka both know they’re shopping for and feeding a family of four rather than three.

And I fucking love it.

Syaoran's "yeah" and "I'm not" are getting me worried now

Seriously, the way he always answers "Aa" sounds like, "Yeah, sure but if it comes to the hardest point, I need to do something and I will do something."

You're not... OH RLLY SYAORAN-KUN?????

Yeah? What does that even mean.

Y'see, I hope I'm just overreacting but seriously, if something bad happens to Syaoran, heck we know how much Sakura will blame herself and vice versa. At this point, I guess they both just have to suck it up.

Because like what Meiling said,

"It's hard when you're both too important to each other."

That pretty much explains everything.

The both of them love each other too much, it's actually concerning. Sakura proclaiming that she wants to be stronger is a huge step already, and to think that pushing it more is dangerous, according to her mother. Syaoran, on the other hand, is very alarming, too. Just like how many times did he go through all that hard mornings with the orbs, training harder in Hong Kong and among other things, hiding something from Sakura that we all know is painful for him, too.

All of these because they want to protect each other. Such a selfless love.
