As I have mentioned in past posts, much of the physical media of the software I preserve here at DLCC is acquired in used condition, but fully readable and functional.

Sometimes, I have the opportunity to replace some of that software media with media in better condition. Such is the case with this title: Hallmark Card Studio Deluxe 1.0. The media I recently found is in better condition than the media I had previously preserved. The previous media had some light scratches, but were fully functional and able to image successfully. The recent media was in near-mint condition with no scratches on 3 of the 4 discs and only a couple of very minor defects on one disc. I replaced the previous media with the media I found recently.
