CDC/ Cisco Response
CDC’s guidelines were similar to ones we’ve read. It’s interesting how low people are in health literacy. I also found it interesting that it said “highlight the positive aspects of your health message”, because usually health media is gloomy yet sometimes has a positive vibe. I was VERY surprised it said to use 1st or 2nd POV and contractions to seem friendly. Cisco’s was more professional but also more strict in its rules. It is weird that they cannot engage with the news.
