hi miku! im not a system, but my friend is and i want to ask something to get to understand them and you seem really knowledgeable about the disorder so..
if someone has another disorder (eg. adhd, aspd, stpd) is that disorder belinging to the entire body/system or is it belonging to just one alter?
and if its the latter (and you are diagnosed with did) does just that one alter get diagnosed or the whole system?
It is not possible (to my knowledge) for one alter to have neurological or neurodevelopmental conditions (think autism or adhd), as those effect the entire brain structure (although it’s possible for one alter to experience worse symptoms than the other or different alters to experience different symptoms of the condition)
On a slightly related note, I read this interesting study in which a blind patient with DID gradually regained sight during treatment, but some of their alters remained fully blind.
