I didn't have a chance to write this the other day, but since I finished my allotted work for the night, I figure what better time?
This past Monday was my last day as President of Creative Writing Club. I know I'm not graduating for another year, but I'm still sad. It was such a lovely experience, to be able to be at the head of a group that has brought me nothing but joy over the past three years.
I have gained nothing but good memories and good friends from this group, and I am so proud to be able to say that I was its leader, and a part of its regrowth. I can't express in words how much that means to me, to have been able to help create something that brought people together, that made people laugh.
There is no greater pleasure than making people smile, and that's all that this organization has brought me. So friends, thank you. Thank you for letting me be a part of all of it.
I hope I was the President you guys deserved.
