Responses (part 2)
adamyantastic - "NO. YOU ARE WRONG. Stop trying to morally defend someone who cannot be physically defended. Stop trying to blame the victims. Also, BLAMING VICTIMS? REALLY?"
Response - *Alleged victimes. And yes. Really. Blaming everyone involved. "Equal guilt for equal crimes" is something that I said in the post. What does moral defense have to do with physical defense?
yossariancaulfield - NO. YOU ARE WRONG NOPE NOPE NOPE
Response - When you do not point out the specific error of my ways, how am I supposed to see where I'm wrong?
izzybrowneh/cecesgotdasprinkles - Y'all seem to work in pairs. Did you change your mind, or just "like" my post so that you could keep it handy?
zeldanes - "I want you to know generally I am a very nice person, but SHUT THE FUCK UP. Just no. Don't you dare defend him. Mike Lombardo has made his bed and now he's going to man up and deal with the consequences of what he's done and how many lives he's impacted in an extremely negative way.
NOW I WANT TO FUCKING BAKE COOKIES AGAIN, BUT I'M OUT OF GOD DAMN CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND UNSALTED BUTTER."
Response: A lot of Walmarts are open 24/7. Is there one nearby where you can get your chocolate chips and butter? Cookie making is serious business. Now I kinda want cookies. Good idea.
Why the blurb about generally being a nice person? Mike is a nice person in general. You just proved that being generally nice means nothing. For me, it's less about defending him than it is about handing out fair blame. You're correct, manning (but why do we say "manning" and not "womaninng"?) up and dealing with the consequences is something that's going to happen. That doesn't mean he needs to be attacked by everyone.
