Cedar chest!!! It was put on my fave vintage store's insta a couple weeks ago, and i figured it would be snapped up quick like their insta post stuff is.
No!!!! And then the new job asked me to start remotely in a couple weeks, and then the chest was half off and now I have it!!!
Talk about luck.

Yesterday’s Tuesday I gotten myself some creativity feast going again. Shame on me. We’ve being doing some knitting on our Christmas Stocking in old fashion way although it’s hurt with needles.
After that, I went to art classes again for doing our safe box, mostly like putting rings or jewelry like mom do. So decided for my design, I go with Evelyn Bear from Harvey Beaks simply a “ mom” gift. ^^ However It’s not finished yet so I can save it for another time; not Friday at the program I suppose. Hopefully my crayola paint kit won’t fail me.
BTW, Did you hear of Thornes Marketplace? My thoughts was like Stop & Stop except it was a shopping mall with Coffee & Cafe, Ice Cream & Candy, Shoes, Bath Products and surprisingly mini video game arcade collection at Cedar Chest that I just saw! Especially the Tetris one. 😊

Latest Project - Cedar Chest
This project began as a cedar box that I was going to upcycle. Unfortunately, the initial sanding was pretty uneven, and the box sides became too thin. I cut the sides off, added wenge wood to make new sides, added hardware, and redid the top. While not what I initially envisioned, I like the outcome was still pretty nice.

I am excited to get this into my apartment after giving it a good treatment at my parent's.

I painted this busted up cedar chest (that I found in the attic of our house when we bought it) over the 4th of July holiday. The maze is "solve-able" and begins at the button on the front, and ends inside. (I missed some black paint by my signature, but oh well. Hahaa. So far, "Ed" seems happy and quiet..)
