In other times, the harm can be done to ourselves on a long term, but those are things we don’t realize right away. I suppose this is when life gets in the way and tries to send us signs.”

17. Your character walking in on mine having an embarrassing fall.
He loved those boots. As comfortable as he was with them, it did happen few times that the little heel became problematic even just a little. He had them for a while already, but this time it was all a matter of distraction that caused him to miss the sidewalk. As soon as he finished crossing the street, Tsuzuku didn’t raise his foot high enough, stumbling and soon meeting with the ground.
It was out of luck that Tsuzuku was holding onto his phone the moment right before he missed the sidewalk. Fom a second to the other, all he saw was the phone flying away from his hand, and rather than protecting himself like his reflex should take care of, Tsuzuku tried reaching out for his phone only to end up spread along the sidewalk, the lower half of his body between the two cars parked there.
A tall pair of legs had stopped near his phone and Tsuzuku’s only fear was to have it stepped on, but as his gaze rose, he recognized the tall man instantly. Huffing in pain from the harsh impact with the cement, he pressed his hand on the ground and pushed himself up, bringing a knee on the sidewalk. “I hope you didn’t see anything…!” he said with a small chuckle.
