Cegeka, KPMG and Microsoft further optimize blockchain services

Cegeka, KPMG and Microsoft are collaborating in the Netherlands to optimize their service provision based on blockchain technology. Blockchain makes it possible to gather information from various sectors and perform transactions securely without involving a ‘trusted third party’, such as a bank or notary. The three partners each specialise in different blockchain technology fields: Cegeka is a specialist in the various blockchain technologies – such as Corda, Ethereum, Hyperledger, multichain and Ripple – and brings the required technical experience to the group, also using its expertise to determine which technologies are most suitable for which services. Microsoft is providing the IT infrastructure and has fully prepped its public cloud platform, Azure, for the new blockchain applications, including features for compliance and automatic encryption. Finally, KPMG is providing knowledge and expertise in the sectors where blockchain technology can play a significant role.
