On Celene and Briala’s VAs
So I have played Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts a lot, and I mean a lot, I make it no secret about how much I love Celene and Briala, but one thing I always look forward to hearing are their voices, I think the VAs did such a fantastic job.
Celene’s VA is very much like what I imagined her sounding in TME, she sounds so welcoming and sweet when you first meet her, but then near the end she sounds powerful and in charge, especially when she sentences Gaspard. When you confront her about the locket… “I failed her, I should of dared more.” That line is so well executed, the raw emotion you can hear, she sounds like she’s about to cry.
Briala’s VA.. I’m not sure sure what I thought she’d sound like but I’m glad they went with this VA, I love her voice so much, she sounds quite cute to me, she sounds quite playful too, especially when discussing the little army she has at her disposal. When you, for lack of better words, reunite her with Celene, it’s just so sweet, the way she so fondly says “Celene.”
Celene Valmont is:
An Empress.
Lover of education and art over war.
A huge lesbian.
Still totally in love with Briala and kept her promise to make her a noble, but one upped herself by making Briala, a FREAKING MARQUISE.
An avid tea lover.
Literally goes on and on about how beautiful Briala looks.
Celene Valmont isn't:
Abusive.
