        lyric  isn’t  great  when  it  comes  to  the  whole  “patience”  thing.  he’d  like  to  say  he’s  working  on  it,  but  the  truth  is,  he’s  not.  it’s  just  a  flaw  that’s  there.  besides,  he  has  a  kid  he  should  be  getting  home  to.  he’d  rather  not  leave  her  with  his  sister  anymore  than  he  has  to.  ❛  orrrrrrrr,  ❜  he  drags  out  the  word,  ❛  here’s  a  concept.  ❜  he  grabs  a  chair,  turning  it  backwards  to  sit  with  his  arms  resting  on  the  back.  ❛  we  try  and  hurry  to  get  out  of  here.  ‘cause  staying  here?  boring.  one  star  on  yelp,  pretty  sure  there’s  no  zero  stars.  plus  i  like  this  chair,  ❜  he  does  a  quick  tap  against  it,  ❛  so  i’ll  allow  a  single  star.  ❜  he  lost  track  of  what  he’s  talking  about  for  a  moment.  ❛  anyway,  so  we  should  just  ----  just  speed  up  us  getting  out  of  here.  i  wanna  get  out  of  here,  i’m  sure  you  wanna  get  out  of  here,  we  can  speed  it  up  like  a  movie.  ❜  a  beat,  ❛  not  like  --  not  like  a  movie’s  fast,  but  you  know,  when  you  fast  forward  a  movie.  that  kind  of  speed  up.  i  believe  in  us.  ❜

marigold :    is your muse prone to jealousy ?  how might they handle envious feelings ?

any jealousy that leena experiences is probably due to her intense attachment / abandonment issues .  her jealousy is usually brief but whenever she does care about someone she tends to latch on .

poppy :   what comforts your muse ?

to name a few :  the scent of old books ,  the quiet hours in the infirmary ,  the skyhold garden ,  a cup of tea ,  the warm sensation of using spirit healing magic ,  libraries .

sunflower :   what brings your muse the most joy in life ?

her greatest joy is saving other people’s lives .  her healing magic is something that she has always been proud of ,  despite all of her conflicting feelings and guilt over being a mage .  but her healing magic gives her purpose ,  which is something she sometimes feels like she lacks .

yellow   recedes  ,    leaving   familiar   blue   in   its   place  ,    but   obi - wan   only   stares   at   eve   for   a   long   moment  ,    lips   trembling   faintly  ,    nearly   imperceptibly.      can’t   eve   see   that   what   he   asks   for   is   impossible?      and   yet   it   hurts  ,    hurts   in   a   way   that   he   had   not   allowed   it   to   when   anakin  ,    padme  ,    bail  ,    had   asked    much   the   same   of   him.      eve   has   never   been   anything   but   good  ,    and   obi - wan    --    the   darkness   has   dragged   him   under  ,    begun   to   rot   him   from   the   inside   out. 

“    i   can’t.    ”       the   moan   that   finally   drags   itself   from   his   throat   is   anguished.       “    i   can’t   find   my   way   out   of   the   dark.      there   is   no   way   back.      don’t   you   see   that?   ”

                𝐇𝐈𝐒    𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐒    𝐃𝐎𝐍'𝐓    𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖    𝐇𝐈𝐌    𝐓𝐎    𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐔𝐒𝐄.    a    son    of     the    stars         with    not    a    single    one    to    guide    eve.    anakin’s    confidence    in    eve    was    not    misplaced   despite    the    possibility   it    might    have    misplaced    his    lung.    it    remains    steadfast    in    his    hope    that    sky    &    stars    will    rise   as   one.   as   soon    as    sky    regains    his    breath,    as    fleeting    as    it    is.    even    as    he    saw    the    ship    reverse    at    full    speed,    regret    could    not    find    its    hold    on    him.    many    are    (rightly    so),    &    would    be    intimidated    about    flying    an    arctis-class    fighter.    the    controls    rely    on    the    pilot’s    premonitions     &    the    viewport    offers    limited    visibility.    nothing    a    force    user    could    not    compensate    for.    but    even    now,    as    his    eyes    capture    the    sky    in    imitation;    flecks    of    a    star’s    gold    pepper    his    iris,    they    outshine    the    heavens    as    the    younger    man    takes    care.    his    silhouette    captures    a    wreath    of    aureate    day    as    he    eclipses    the    sun,    looking    down    on    anakin.

flush rises high in his cheeks at the suggestion and obi - wan holds his ground,   shaking his head,   though the other man has already caught at his hand.    as much as he loves evelorne,   he’s got no intention of dancing in front of so many people.      “   i am not a very capable dancer,   ”      he says hastily,   insistent,      “   and i don’t think the council would approve,   either.   ”

      𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐁𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆  !  indeed, this beholder appears to have eyes the jedi meditate to attain. maybe anakin’s definition of beauty has become different, the force is more keen to reveal its secrets when its user’s heart opens. eve is no common idealist, but a man who has taken to arms. he has seen a darkness consume his people & rose to challenge it.  anakin feels his strength. admires it. to see the world as he sees it, anakin will yet again throw his heart in the custody of hope.

isn’t this what the jedi are supposed to be like  ?  the question has evolved from a nine year old on tatooine waiting to become a hero, his eyes once like eve’s; STARLIT, to a point of focus in his meditations. it feels familiar & right.

 FOREST   NYMPH   /   CHILD   OF   THE   STARS,      like   all   things   beautiful   you   have   grown   thorns,   least   someone   thinks   to   pluck   away   at   petals   and   unroot   you.   there   is   no   crown   to   adorn   midnight   locks,   no   silk   to   encase   naboo’s   lotus,   but   she   wears   leather   just   as   finely,   paints   herself   in   blood   as   pretty   as   any   other   paint.   the   quickening   on   rabbit’s   heart   alerts   her   of   danger,   long   having   learned   to   trust   her   body   above   all   else.   artoo   grazes   a   few   paces   behind   her,   unbothered,   but   the   forest   knows   of   many   dangers.   a   beat   allowed   to   pass,   seconds   counting   millennia,   before   small   hand   wraps   around   the   hilt   of   the   sword.   a   swift   turn   raises   clouds   of   dust   around   her,   blade   poised   with   the   certain   ease   of   someone   uncaring   or   danger   and   reckless   enough   to   take   it.         “   has   no   one   told   you   that   approaching   lone   women   in   the   woods   is   unbecoming   ??   ”

The elf grimaces, placing the now broken relic back on the pedestal it previously laid upon. He’s also lucky it didn’t set off any traps either, ❝ How was I supposed to know it was so delicate? Usually ancient things around here tend to be pretty sturdy. ❞ just like the occupants that shared the land. ❝ I’m sure it can be fixed though. Hopefully. ❞ probably not.
