I feel the need to elaborate on the little ones roaming the Orphanage grounds.
These are often attributed to experiments done on orphaned children of Yharnam, forced to be 'unseen thinkers for the Healing Church.' I will not tolerate slander of my name or my work, even if it comes from what you may call 'word of God.'
To start, yes, the little ones are turned orphans, but not in the way you might immediately think. The fact is that people just die in Yharnam constantly, and while I have no statistics to backup my claim, I'd estimate that one in four people died per day. This did not make exception for children, and nearly every week I was faced with having to bury a child. It hollows you, for lack of a better term.
When Ebrietas was brought to the Church, its innate reality-shifting ability manifested to creat the Altar of Despair--a name I did not come up with on my own. That altar allows Ebrietas' power to resurrect and reincarnate the dead, and to date every young one I've tried to bring back has come back in Her image.
They do thrive around the Orphanage, for they do in fact subsist on Insight. And what is my domain if not a wellspring of the stuff?
Other worlds' Choirs may be malicious, but I will not stand idly by and be slandered any longer.
