so where did they get estrogen in the starscraper

I have to wonder if there was an initial concept intent for all of the Celestial elves to carry bells or have them on their clothing in order to indicate to each other where they are moving, which then got mostly dropped because it would have been kind of annoying and impractical from both an animation and sound design standpoint

THAT BEING SAID, they do actually tell us in Tales of Xadia (also where Celestial elves are first referenced, pre-s5) how they are probably able to navigate so easily the way they do:

bloody sights

It was his first time getting the vision. The screams, the bloody gurgles, the thuds of bodies hitting the ground soullessly. Everything was happening all at once, every single person he's ever known, gone in a matter of minutes. 

The Silver Witch stood cold, ethereal in the bloody night. Her empty eyes stared at him, almost pitifully. After that, all he felt was the sharp sting in his throat.

GASP.

Kosmo shot up off the hammock, gasping for breath. He sensed around and couldn't feel his sister anywhere. "Astrid?? ASTRID?!"

Where was she?

..He thought it was real..

All he got was silence. His frantic hands dropped to his side as he dropped to his knees, his breath getting faster. "No, no, no, no-"

Kosmo brought his left hand to his mouth and started biting in a panic, using the other to wipe his tears. Neither of the acts could stop his shaking.

He failed? He failed hasn't he? The second he steps out of the room, he'll find them all dead. They're all dead. He's next, he's next isn't he?

His head spun as he collapsed onto the wall next to him for support, his breathing more erratic, his biting drawing blood.

He tasted the metal in his mouth, although it was the blood from his fingers, his stomach churned. Was it Astrid's? The Elder's? Whose- 

"Please- Please, please-"

He couldn't stop moving, his hands shook violently, tears wouldn't stop rushing down his face. This time he couldn't pretend to be mature, to be composed, to be— anything but this. 

He wanted to help, he wanted to run out and see if anyone was still to be saved, but he couldn't. In his fear, he just curled into a ball and cried. 

He felt so pathetic, the stars had gifted him sight, for what? For him to fail? For him to hide in his room while his kin lay in puddles of blood?

His sobs got louder, he was terrified. Scared to lift his head, scared to remove his blindfold. Then the door swung open, he curled tighter into himself, trying to brace for the witch's move.

Instead, he got arms tight around him, holding him in a comforting hug.

"Kosmo, what's wrong? Talk to me, please." Astrid spoke softly, wiping his tears. 

Kosmo held tighter, voice choked off by his own sobs. He couldn't speak, Astrid could tell. So, she just held her brother tighter and whispered reassurances into his ear. 

She often sassed him around, they always did that, but Astrid loved her brother more than anything. They were there for each other through it all, they'd always be.

As she felt her twin's body relax, exhaustion taking over once again, she guided him to his hammock.

"Kosmo?"

"..mm?"

"Whatever it is, whenever you want to tell me, we'll get through it together, mk?"

"Mk."

Some of my thoughts on timeblindness

"Kosmo fainted when he saw Callum cause he's sensitive to dark magic due to his connections to the stars" erm AKSHUALLY celestial elves and star beings are not affected or sensitive to dark magic, neither are beings with time blindness. Kosmo wasn't morally offended /j

He wasn't overcome by the presence of dark magic in Callum's soul itself he fainted because he was NEWLY timeblind, and saw what the traces of darkness in Callum's soul could lead to, etc. destruction, death, possession and more complex futures. Kosmo being new to the power would've obviously been overwhelmed and overexerted by the amount of possibilities and consequences that he would've js passed out from the exhaustion of seeing it

The Celestial Elves are essentially a cult, they chose in their culture that no light that isn't pure starlight may enter their eyes, as seen with Astrid, nothing actually happens to them when they see sun or moon light other than the broken oath to the stars. Her breaking the oath also didn't affect Kosmo's time blindness and abilities, hence why I'm sure that The Celestial Elves wouldn't be that sensitive to dark magic and would just react to it as other elf species do.

Switching to Startouch elves, I do believe that as they are star beings, they have a certain type of time blindness that is different than the ability that can be bestowed to The Celestial Elves. As Kosmo is a mortal, he sees the futures of different actions and their consequences with a limited perspective, in my eyes he sees futures one by one until his mortal form and being can't handle it and stops him from seeing further. Small changes in the timeline can affect his visions greatly and cause more exertion from him given that once again he is mortal.

The Startouch elves on the other hand are immortal, the cosmic order, Aaravos, and can only be kept by trapping or isolation completely. I see their time blindness as if they see a tree of events all at once, they can scan for what details will change, what details will stay the same, and what each future can bring. Now we get to "If they are timeblind, why would they execute Leola if they knew of Aaravos's revenge?" which can only have one answer. If magic had spread to humans and other beings farther than the ripple of Leola's innocent mistake, the outcome of Xadia and the humans would be worse than what Aaravos would bring onto them.
