Sora no Method Episode 12.
What an ass pull.
So, Nonoka is moving back into the city again, she remembers Noel. She cries out her name and her dad asks if she was having some kind of dream. Worse yet, it's summer, and last time, it was snowing and winter.
She leaves the car mid drive. Her dad questions if she remembers where they live. She replies yes. She meets up with Koharu who doesn't remember Nonoka, she doesn't remember Noel, she doesn't remember the Saucer. Everyone thinks Nonoka moved away when they were kids, and call her The Nonoka. What the fuck? Seriously, what in the actual fuck?
This continues later. She meets Souta and he says they did call the saucer but a saucer never came. So, not only did they not remember... their memories were altered?! What the fuck? Would this have happened if AnoHana continued?
So, she meets with Yuzuki, who also doesn't remember Noel and the saucer. She asks about Shione, but to Nonoka's discovery by going there herself and from Koharu, Shione apparently moved away when they were in elementary school.
Later, she tells everyone back in her reality (since this is a different reality, I guess), that they did call a saucer, and Noel did indeed come. But Souta harshly replies that it was probably a dream/never happened.
So, Nonoka screams to the goddamnned sky. "DID NOEL EVER EXIST?" Even she starts to wonder if Noel ever existed. And by the way, she's recording everything she can about what she remembers about Noel.
Also, in this alternate reality, Monster, Noel's long life crush, never broke, and the observatory has no telescope.
Anyway, after her little scream to the sky, Shione comes in a hat as an ex-bitch and seems to be fine with Nonoka this time? What? How does she remember Noel? I don't get this...
WOULDN'T IT JUST FUCKING SOLVE THE PROBLEM TO CALL THE SAUCER AGAIN? AND WHAT IS UP WITH THIS ALTERNATE REALITY BULLSHIT? THE HELL DOES NO ONE BUT NONOKA AND SHIONE REMEMBER NOEL? THIS ANIME PULLED THE BIGGEST ASSPULL YET AND DOESN'T EXPLAIN A THING.
Last week, it ends. If it doesn't give me explanations soon, I'll really be pissed.
