They sniff at him curiously, all four wings tucked tightly against their sides.Their blue eye pulses, glows more brightly. "Strange thing, strange thing.As bright as the sun." They chime, just as the red eye flares. "The bonded of a broken man who thinks he is king."

A broken man who thinks he’s king.

A low hiss comes from the dragon, golden eyes narrowing on the other dragon as his head lowers slightly.

“He is king, and always will be” he says squinting at him. Claws digging into the dirt as he slowly circles the other. Tail swishing out of aggravation.

“Don’t you EVER disrespect him like that.”

“Oh!” Katara couldn’t help herself as she stared up at the lovely blue dragon. Aang had told her there were some dragons left, but she hadn’t really believed it and now … , “You’re beautiful!” If there dragon understood her, Katara didn’t know. She also got the urge to bow, so she lowered her head and tilted downward as a sign of respect. They seemed of a like mind, Katara thought as she noticed the dragon near the waters edge. Was the dragon like her, water bound? Maybe, probably. Was that possible? “I promise you I mean you no harm. I just came here to practice my bending. Would you like to see it?” She stood and held out a hand, tentatively lifting some water gently in the air with the motion, slow and steady so that the dragon didn’t startle, at least she didn’t want them to.
