It's just that my blood's under enough pressure as is." Shiloh looked at Luis with a grin. "That one sounded better online."

She wasn't ever a fan of doctor's offices. Most definitely had really turned to hating laboratories. "I wonder what else is planned today besides torturing my arm with needles. Maybe a nice stroll should be in the cards. I'd like to just go for a good long-ass run."

"Don't be this hard on yourself." Locke offers her a warm smile. They barely know each other, and yet, he can see Vanille's strong will. Behind that smile, he can tell she suffered, too. It reminds him of himself, somehow. He hopes she knows she's not alone. "Listen, I don't know what happened in your world, but don't blame yourself for all of it. It can't be entirely your fault." Locke himself didn't believe people at first when they were speaking to him this way, but now, he's starting to realize.

It's such a RELIEF to have Dion back at the Hideway. A part of Joshua understands why he first left, though. He knows what it is, to entirely lose his temper. Joshua can't forget the first time he turned into Phoenix and destroyed everything, killing many innocent people in the process. Maybe he was still a child, back then, but he still felt terrible when he realized what had truly happened. But if Dion, Bahamut himself, can be an ally against Ultima, maybe they truly can win. Maybe Joshua won't see the world after Ultima, but knowing it'll probably exist makes him feel so relieved.

Joshua is coming back from a few contracts with Clive. There's still a few things to do before defeating Ultima, though. They need to be ready. When he sees Dion at the Hideway, he approaches him, offering him a smile.

"You don't mind staying here ?" he asks. "I'm sure Clive would be glad to have you around, along with Jill, Torgal and me. We could probably complete these contracts more quickly."

sooo what's zeno's hair routine and maintenance? 👀

His first attempt at doing his own hair was, to put it bluntly, disastrous. During his earlier days, his carers would manage his hair for him, cutting it according to Albert's style and using specific brands of shampoo and conditioner when necessary. Zeno tended to get messy, a lot, frequently requiring showers to cleanse his hair of blood and accumilated debris from rushing around so much. This lasted about a year or so before he started rebelling. He'd tired of looking so much like Albert, finding scissors to crop his hair himself, butchering the sides which ended up a messy business. His superiors were greatly displeased but allowed his handlers to trim his hair according to his wishes, cutting the sides neatly so he still resembled their chosen. Zeno enjoyed frequent grooming, liking showers twice a day if he could get it during busier periods. It washed off the scents he'd accumilate during the day and a shower at both the start and end of day suits him well. Washing it twice a day, using expensive shampoos and conditioners with scents he finds pleasing is his usual go-to. Once a month he might have his sides trimmed down so they grow too far out back into the full style Albert is known for. Hair gel is not Zeno's thing however - it's far too sticky and greasy for him to tolerate, making him want to wash it out. He can do it himself and eventually did but for a while, it was nice letting others do that for him.
