Thing I really love in Aeducan Origin is that it's not only a degenerative ritches-to-rags arc, but one can very much play it in a way where the Aeducan is the architect of their own downfall. Like, Bhelen is there, sure, but it can be their own hubris, their own naivety or lust for power that brings Aeducan down and I think that makes their potential development as a Warden so interesting.

Conversly while Cousland can react in the multitude of ways to the betrayal, it is ultimately something that is always bound to happen fully out of their control and in a way strips them of whatever autonomy they had, and conversely this is what I really like to play up for the Cousland.

And then I want to put them both in a room and see which one comes out alive.

My favourite thing about Celia x Anora btw is that this woman just lost her dumb blond trophy-husband and then the famed (or moreso infamous) Gray Warden walk in to save her from her prison and they exchange some banter and Anora is like "Okay okay I might actually like this one more then I expected" only to later maybe see the gang celebrating something or planning for the Landsmeet discover that Celia is also... a little stupid. And she is stuck looking at this small, charming, blond dumbass who is brimming with confidence and she is just like "...Fuck, I did it again."

What is the biggest reason for Leliana x Anora x Celia Aeducan being problematic

Celia killed Anora's dad in front of the whole Landsmeet

The obvious power imbalance (Anora being sole ruler of Ferelden)

The not obvious power imbalance (Leliana is the pope's spy/ later becomes pope)

Celia enables both of her wives worst tendencies because she thinks it's hot

Guys is it fucked up the Queen of Ferelden is sleeping with the Pope

Leliana's loyalty to Justinia possibly slightly winning over love for both wives

Celia telling Anora she is hearing the Calling but not Leliana

Anora is doing it at least a little bit for the political influence

Anora's involvement in the romance being kinda a secret (a badly kept one)

Celia has the same name as Anora's mom

I love thinking about how young Harding used to idolize dwarven Hero of Ferelden. A 10 year old little Lace finally knowing who she wants to play as during pretending with other kids. Pretending the good ol' Contessa is her trusted mabari wardog and they are going to fight darkspawn together.

And then when the Inqustion rolls around suddenly she can actually help. She can be a part of something bigger. And maybe maybe just a little bit she wants to live out the fantasy of being the hero. Of saving her home.

Does she ever learn her childhood hero surrounds herself with blood mages, abominations and criminals? Does she learn she looks like she is half dead now (because she is) but is able to make enough bad jokes about it it's almost funny? Does she get to learn that Warden Aeducan despises Inqusition to her very core?

Thinking about the implications of Aeducan killing Loghain after making Bhelen king.

Like you put aside a betrayal that was much deeper, much more personal- because it was the better choice and you know it. Harrowmont was not strong enough to carry the weight of the city, he was not strong enough even to hold you up when you fell- if you care for Orzammar at all you have to look past what had happened accept that the one who has a chance to secure it's future is also the one who was willing to stab you in the back.

And then Bhelen kills Harrowmont because he can't let him walk away- it is what a kind forgiving ruler would do and in this city it would be a mistake.

And then in the Landsmeet you stand victorious before another man who betrayed you- and maybe because this time you can, maybe because you can hear Alistair demanding justice and you know he would never forgive you otherwise- or maybe because in this moment you feel much closer to Bhelen then Loghain ever was- which in turn makes him your Harrowmont... and you deal the final blow.

I do think that best (worst) thing about my Warden Celia hardening Leliana is that it does come from a place of real love and affection and devotion but it is also Celia clearly projecting.

Like Celia herself at that point is coming to terms with the fact she was (is?) a kinda shitty person, she did a lot of bad things and doesn't feel as remorseful about some of them as she maybe should. So when Leliana, a woman Celia has been enamored with for a while, revealed she thinks she was also a bad person and she fears she still kind of is Celia's first instinct isn't to deny it but to be like "I still love you no matter what". Because now they can be bad people together and if Leliana, beautiful, sweet Leliana is a bad person and she still loves her then maybe Celia is not a lost cause either. Maybe she can take those parts of herself that begin to scare her and use them to protect what she loves and maybe then if she will be worthy of love in someone's eyes despite all that, maybe it will be okay actually.

I have a lot of thoughts on the messy romance that is Hardened Leliana x Aeducan but I would be lying if I said I could summarize it any better then this
