Imagine 5 dancers flying almost the speed of light, through the large hadron collider of CERN... This is what we tried to capture on film today in the Schram Studios in Amsterdam, by using large wind and smoke machines.
Choreographer Lukas Timulak casted four magical dancers for the Symmetry project: Shirley Esseboom, Celia Amade, César Faria Fernandes & Joeri Dubbe. The dancers play CERN scientists in the film… Next week we start rehearsals @KORZO for our first day of shooting inside the actual particle collider tunnel LHC and the detector CMS in Geneva.
Choreographer Lukas Timulak is preparing for the film. With the wonderful support of the dance studios by KORZO in The Hague. We call this part of the choreography: "big bang ballet" for the climax of the film, when the physicality get strengthened, movements become bigger and bodies will jump-cut in space...
