Kingston Penitentiary, cell block, early morning, 1980s. This represents the renovated cell blocks after they were divided at tier 2 and 3 to make each unit easier to control - the prison was converted into a control unit-style prison in the mid-80s after serving as a reception and classification centre since 1973.
