After, we got led to some place which was like a food hall, there were lots of tables and a canteen bit. I didn't get anything cause I was smart and brought some snacks and a bottle of water. We then gave our stuff(bags and jackets/coats) to Laurens dad.
Then we were led to the actual Friday Download studio where we had to do some rehearsals like clapping, cheering and singing and stuff. We had to be at the back cause we're quite tall compared to the other young people, but I didn't mind cause I still had quite a good view of the stage. Then the first thing they filmed was Aidan's Dance Download and HE WAS GREAT AND SO CUTE AND OMGWIOGBHEPHBF! People kept screaming at him and shouting "I love you" and stuff and he waved around, but he didn't really look at where we were standing (which was in between the centre and his left of the stage) but oh wells, hes even better live! the stage was surprisingly a lot smaller than it seems on TV and there was a lot less people than i expected, however, moving on... he brought on Richard and Cel and they were ADORABLE doing the dance (or trying to in Richard's case). We were all screaming and stuff, it was wonderful and I wanted to cry. I kept going on my tiptoes to get an even better view cause I couldn't really see there feet but I was soooooo excited that when i got on my toes, my legs were shaking and I felt like I was gonna fall
Then they were off (sad, I know) and then it was time to film Sing Download with Dionne and all the others (Yay!). The song was "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepson and I actually sung and jumped around when we were supposed to (I thought I wasn't going to cause I'm awkward and embarrassing but I did anyway :) haha). Then we got to sit down for a bit which was nice cause my legs were starting to get tired.
Anyways, after that we did the intro bit where they talked about some things and then introduced Alexandra Burke!! They spoke for a bit again like they usually do and then Alexandra started talking about how she sometimes does competitions for her fans on twitter and the winner get to go out with her for dinner at Nandos!! Lol then Richard was like :O I love Nandos can I come too? She was like yh sure, we all need to go. But then they got stopped as they aren't aloud to mention twitter and Nandos in it, so we had to film that bit again. She seems really nice and genuine and she said she was a bit nervous to be on the show, it seemed like it just before she performed too, which I thought was sweet.
Now it was time for Alexandra to rehearse and she practiced the routine which included 4 other dancers. After another rehearsal, it was the real thing. We had to film it twice, once with Aidan, Richard, Cel and Tyger dancing with us (like 2 metres away from me ahhhhhh!!!) and one without them. It was tiring after awhile and we got to sit down once more.
Next to me though, was this group of girls and they were really loud and were properly dancing which was a bit awkward cause i was standing right there but yh...
THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY THO!! OMG! OMG! OMG! IM GETTING EXCITED JUST TYPING ABOUT IT! AIDAN DAVIS TOUCHED MY HAND! I WAS LIKE AAAAHHHHHHH I WILL NEVER WAS THIS HAND EVER AGAIN!! AND THEN I TOUCHED RICHARD'S ARM TOO AND I WAS LIKE AHHHH!! I LOVE THEM BOTH!! Cel was going round touching people's hands too but he didnt get to us cause the guy told him to get off stage ( :( Cel is sooo sweet though, i can tell he likes to please his fans, he was the only one to come out and say hi before we started filming) AND! AND! AAANNNDDD! RICHARD LOOKED OVER AT ME! YES! WE MADE EYE CONTACT!! NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE, NOT EVEN THREE TIMES, IT WAS FOUR TIMES!! AND MY HEART STOPPED AT EACH ONE!
Finally, we got called by our colour groups (mine was blue) and had to leave. I didn't even get to meet the presenters which was disappointing but my friend is gonna apply again for the later show so we can go to the Hot or Not and Games Download :) UNTIL THEN, I CANNOT WAIT!
We left and were still all very excited, even though we didn't get any pics which was sad, and went to my friends house, there we had McDonalds (McChicken Sandwich and chips for me) and watched the latest ep of Friday Download as we all missed it. After, Laurens mum had to drive her sisters friend home which left just me and Lauren as her dad went to sleep. We chatted for a bit whilst watching the end of Friday Download then decided to play some Wii. We played Need for Speed then Mario Kart and by the time we finished, it was nearly 4 so I had to go home. So I went home, thinking about the whole day and how IT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!
The Friday Download ep will be on next week Friday, which will be the 25th May, 2012! I don't think I'm on screen but watch it anyway! It's a good ep! Series 3, Ep 5 :D
