Luke 10:38-41
Sometimes we get so caught up in serving God. We worry to whether or not we’re doing a good job, or getting it done to perfection; and because of that, we have the tendency to lose sight of what truly matters the most.
God himself.
Always serving, always getting ready what needs to be done in order for others to worship God.
It can be hectic; stressful, in order to get everything ready to fit into the word ‘perfect’. God takes delight in us when we serve him with full hearts. But when we serve and everything else clouds our mind instead of him, he’s saying that only one thing is needed; choose what is better which is to sit at His feet and have rest in him.
It just hit me that:
“What we offer to him, can never compare to what he gave and is giving us; it will never be taken away from her/him.”
