There's something just, tender about this? The you who they turned you into looking back at their older self and telling them it's okay? They're safe now? I dunno there's something that fill me with warmth when I see content of Hajime bringing Izuru into light or Izuru protecting Hajime. So much to unpack about who you are after your identity was split in two like that, each bringing something to the other that the other so desperately needs, finding an internal harmony of love? Izuru getting to exist as his own being and that not being denied but still being acknowledged as inseparable from Hajime? It's tender to me, self love when the world deems you unworthy of any.
