I have no idea how you get chosen for an award so i’m irgnorant.All the movies nominated are ones with gazillion dollar budgets and shit.The whole show is for entertainment not for giving well deserved directors awards. They wouln’t have many viewers

I just like seeing my favorite actors on stage. the ceremony its self is pretty dumb. The “who’s wearing what dress” thing after the show is probably worse than the award show though.
I get that, and that's fine, I'm not saying nobody's allowed to like it, but that's also part of my point. It's about people's "favorite" celebrities. Awards pretty much never go to unknown actors or filmmakers, no matter how fantastic of a job they do.
