She had been walking home after spending nearly the whole day at the hospital. Her body is tired hence her sluggish movements. Her brain wasn’t even thinking straight at this point. If this was any other time, she would be full of excitement to be having a conversation with the headless rider. She wasn’t even thinking when those words tumbled out of her mouth. 

Shihori eyes the device being used to communicate. There’s a nod when she’s given the permission to approach. She steps closer, allowing herself to lean against the woman, body relaxing and she lets out a small sigh.

“It’s... been a long day. I’m so tired.” More like it’s been a long week. Between having to deal with her mother and ‘running errands’ for Izaya, she really hasn’t been able to catch a break.

must have stung when she got her head back and was literally like ‘old memory. who dis?’ But I love that. Celty’s head seems to have a weird influence on men anyway. I mean, you could narrow it down to 'it’s pretty’ but there’s definitely more to it than that.

absolutely more to it than that, for sure! it’s actually a big part of gaelic-based folk traditions and lore that faeries have that sort of effect on people. that’s one thing i really loved about drrr, it was very faithful to these old-school folklore concepts that i’ve always been such a sucker for.

Like he’s one to talk with how deranged his own perception of love is. Izaya could never love a monster. Which is why his brain can’t seem to wrap around how Shinra can just fall in love with Celty. His love for the human race prevents him from feeling love towards anything else. Which would also explain his HATE for Shizuo. 

“      But it’s whatever I guess.      ”

There’s a carefree shrug. A small exasperated sigh escapes his lips.
