I am not doing so well lately... pretending that all is well is more difficult than it seems... but oh well...  

While working on a LotR themed commission I got reminded of my LotR OC Celume... quick sketch of her playing “he loves me, he loves me not”

This one is, yet again, inspired by lovely Celume, @chenria OC and a guest star of “Journey of Oaths”

I hope she doesn’t mind me borrowing her without asking ;)

Has Celume done anything truly unforgivable or close enough? If so, how did she cope with it? If not, where times she thought about crossing that line?

XD that question made me laugh because I realized that Celume is truly my pacifist baby character. She couldn’t harm anyone, even if she tried… she always thinks there is a way without violence to solve problems. Both in her LotR and in her modern!AU self, she is just “lawful good” XD

The only event where she would even consider, just for the glimpse of an eye, to cross that line was when someone would seriously harm Galaren. Though she wouldn’t use brute force - she lacks strength and skill. But unfortunate food poisoning… lethal food poisoning… accidents happen, right? 

@mimikoflamemaker, just to calm you, since Galaren is your character. Celume would never hurt his family, so no need to worry about Lithien’s well being. Celume might just put some itch-powder or stuff in Lithien’s boots if she’s too much of a troll. Of course Celume would deny any knowledge about such misdeeds. Who could do such a terrible thing?

For all of your ladies: if they could spend a day how they wanted to, how would their perfect day look like? What would they do, where would they be/go, with whom and why? ^.^ (Bonus: same question to you, dear!)

The perfect day? It would definitely not be up here in Washington… here I just get reminded of work. I love beaches… but California is out of the picture. So… Hawaii. That sounds nice and far away enough from work and all the other pressing matters that pile up on my desk. I would go surfing, haven’t done that in ages and with some luck I might find some charming company for drinks and some fun without any strings attached. 

Celume

A perfect day… that would involve sleeping in with Galaren and then having pancakes for breakfast that is not interrupted by early phone calls. Then we would spend a day away from responsibilities - but Galaren would need to leave his phone behind because that thing is ringing all the time and if it’s not ringing he checks it for messages, stock reports and who knows what… I know I check my phone often enough myself… but he is glue to it sometimes. In the evening we would go to a drive in cinema. There we could cuddle while watching the movie without anyone watching us… But getting Galaren to stay offline for a day? I am not sure he would manage without worrying the firm went bankrupt by noon..

It certainly doesn’t involve camping. Can’t I just slouch around all day in my pajamas without bothering to make my hair and makeup… delivery pizza would be nice and watching trashy romance movies on TV. And no, Gladio, just because I am sitting around doing nothing doesn’t mean I am bored and need to go CAMPING ¬_¬

Sahara

A perfect day would be a day when nobody tries to kill me one way or another. When it’s not Khett it’s some weird planet with its flora and fauna or atmosphere… or rebels… or some other weird threat I don’t know about yet. A peaceful day without any obligations. I should have said I want a day off every now and then… We have other Pathfinders now, too. Reyes gives great massages, I might want one of them, too… but most importantly… not getting killed. 

My perfect day…

Are pretty much often how I spend my Sundays actually. I don’t need to go anywhere. So I don’t need to look decent ;) Then I play video games, binge watch Netflix, crochet, draw and/or read… I make eat food I enjoy and have a glass of wine in the evening :3 Nobody who tells me what to do, where to be and no annoying colleagues.

Celume, to what extent you are capable of defending yourself if needs be?

Oh... exposing Celume’s weaknesses, are we? ;)

Well, she’s not very skilled with weapons. Over time she learns some basic dagger fighting skills and she is quite decent when using a bow. But she is not good with moving targets. And strong assailants would be able to easily overpower her. But she is quick and evasive. Her strength would be slipping out of the assailant’s grip more than actually battling him.

What if Celume was transported to the real world? How would she react?

And since there is a modern AU Celume I assume you mean what LotR Celume would do if she was tossed into the real world? 

All the noise would startle her. And that they sealed the earth with concrete and asphalt ... it would deeply sadden her to see that humans have lost the connection to nature. Everything is so fast and needs to be done immediately. She would miss the peace of her home, the time they had to learn... the nature. Eventually Celume would be very sad and lonely I fear :(

What does Celume like to indulge in if she has the chance to do?

She developed a fondness for falconry and likes to raise and train birds - both for hunting and messaging. And the birds don’t judge her, so she likes their company ;) 

An additional thought for @mimikoflamemaker - I think she and Galaren might have personal messenger birds who just deliver their private conversations to each other when they are apart ;)
