I’ve been watching gameplay of older WQ for a fic and it kinda made me think of another idea.
SAGAU where the creator favours the NPC more than the playable. Young Alain and Mary Ann who first found the creator while diving to catch a criminal. You look like you’re asleep while being surrounded by ocean creatures. They took you with them (they didn’t know your identity, they thought you’re one of the criminal’s latest victim) and nurse you back to health.
Because of their kindness, the creator’s heart couldn’t help but loves them. So, unknowingly or knowingly, the creator gave them a blessing.
From then on, their life seems to be easier. Everything seems to worked out in the end and nothing was ‘too much’ anymore. Was there an annoying mission that no one has ever solve? When Mary Ann read it, she immediately knows the culprit.
One of his project was postponed because of funding or maybe because he couldn’t find a solution to fix a problem. But after meeting the creator, Alain has plenty of mora and his brain has never work as smoothly, unlike before.
Anything they do is always talked about and revered by the people of Fontaine. They regard the two as saints, THE chosen one.
Which made Furina disappointed for not being the one who discovered you, preventing her from being favoured. And made Neuvillette cried for 7 whole days when he witnessed how you changed your nonchalant attitude to happy welcoming attitude when the Guillotin siblings approach.

Years after their death, you wander from one nation to another without favouring anyone anymore. That is until you met Alani.
She was crying and screaming about her papers and research that you couldn’t help but approach the poor girl. After giving her a hint to solve her problem, she furiously thanked you and offer to buy you food. (She doesn’t know the creator’s face. No one does, except for vision holders, Gods, & immortals)
Being with her bring you so much joy and you decided to stay with her until she graduates. From then on, Alani’s dread path to graduation which used to look bleak begin to light with sunshine and rainbows. Everything has gone so smoothly (except when she’s overthinking).
Nahida being happy for her but also kinda want to be the one that you favour. Alhaitham review Alani’s thesis, trying to find fault so you’ll realize that she’s nothing special, but finding nothing’s wrong with it.
When Cyno found out you approach her because she was crying screaming throwing up, he has an idea to do the same. But ultimately decided against doing it. Not because of moral or dignity, it’s because Tighnari said he’s not a pretty girl, so it wouldn’t have the same effect.
Author’s Note: i have so much ideas for this. Maybe i’ll write longer fic after all… maybe.
