"Emotions don't make you weak..."
Finality part 1 Cementing Arc
It was his day off, Vorain sat quietly on a cliff of Boralus overlooking Stormsong Valley. He watched from afar, little dots as people traveled and others went about their day. It qas coming very soon this choice and it was his alone to make. As it should be...
He clasped his hands behind him listening to the whispers in the day, they spoke but their council had already been given and he knew that the shadows were focused elsewhere for the time being. He knew a few things for certain, the Void would always be there, he was insane as some liked to call him and he feared he already knew the choice was coming. He had always been a creature unable to balance, it had been this way despite his desire as a young boy and when your way of life is torn from you...It leaves a large, gaping hole that simply cannot be filled with idle actions.
He eyed the ring that had been given to him, twisting it on his finger in thought as apathy of the decision washed over him. He didn't want to make it but knew there would be abundance after it and perhaps a way to move forward. He was always able to move between the two, emotions and lack there of. Though lately he'd been encouraged by those about to remain open. The truth was it hurt and he felt it was...To late for him and perhaps he'd known that since Catherine but was clinging to the false hope some how it could all be reversed.
He knew he could turn and mend in a long painful process...Or embrace who he was and continue down his path of percieved righteousness in the Void. It would be his final decision...He would be far more formidable and unable to fall prey to others fears or concerns. It had always been moments like these that had weakened him so.
Would he cut his own throat and shed what held him back...Or mend the old wounds and disappear from memory...
His jaw flexed from his wild internal dialogue and emotions that came with it. Soon...Soon...
The final decision must be made...
