Info on the overgrown cemetery in Citico--It was there where the Jones family is buried, most notably Charles Jones, who was murdered during a shooting at the Clue Hotel in Madisonville. The shooting was one of many skirmishes during the infamous McGhee-Howard-Jones feud that had gripped Monroe County during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Interestingly enough, they mention a nearby homestead site called the Mayfield Place. If memory serves, I recall seeing ruins in the woods many years ago.
