The Centralian Carpet Python or Bredl’s Python (Morelia bredli) is a constrictor endemic to Northern Territory, Australia. At one time considered a regional variant or subspecies of the more common Carpet Python (Morelia spilota), this animal was first recognized as its own species in 1981. It has a relatively small range, found only in the heart of the country in rocky outcrops and scrub bush.

After taking pics of Hircine last week, I put him back in his cup while I took Namira’s pictures. Afterwards, I was about to put them in their enclosures, and Hircine had started to shed.
He could have done that *before* photos but that’s alright, it was cool to watch him finish!

Nocturnal is dull, getting ready to go into blue but she is still gorgeous
Noc’s new setup. Her live plants are a large fern, a croton, and some brazilian pothos, and I kept most of the spanish moss in there as well.
Nocturnal is one of the most beautiful animals I have ever had the privilege of knowing
I don’t think I could ever describe how much love I have in my heart for this beautiful girl. She is amazing.
