Obviously, all of them have magic. Elsa without powers would be... out of character, I think. Now if you can write a very good Elsa with no magic I am all ears for real

First variant she meets, and who will accompany her along her adventure (but no romance, y'all, having Elsa bond with any of her variants romantically would be creepy) is one who looks just like her with the same royal background etc but with all optimism and joy ripped out of her. She has the same age but looks older. She is definitely sadder. She spends every night staring at the stars instead of sleeping like Original Elsa. Later on Original Elsa finds out that this sad!Elsa actually killed Anna in the accident when they were younger. (yes please jump at my throat)

Next variant is a modern version of her, from a parallel world that actually is similar to ours. That Elsa is from modern Norway and also happens to be the CEO of Arendelle Inc., an architecture company that has An Iconic Building(TM) that she designed herself. Anna and Kristoff work at the company and actually met there. [For more details you can see my #frozen texts thread which is basically my whole delirium about this OC] . She is a VERY skilled architect, even more than Original Elsa if that's even possible, and at some point they need to infiltrate Hans' base so before leaving, architectCEO!Elsa makes sure that they place bombs on each of the weak points of the building to make it collapse later

Next variant is a hilarious idea I had, like, imagine a scientist!Elsa. You might think "Elsa's already into science" but no no no. WAY MORE than that. This Elsa hates that she has magic powers. Not because she is afraid of them, but because she is struggling to explain them in a scientific way. Original Elsa be like "but then how can you justify that we're able to create ice out of thin air?" and scientist!Elsa just blabbers like "We just have a different perception of particles and air pressure, it's nothing very--" and sad!Elsa goes "Then how come we can change the color of the ice?" to which scientist!Elsa replies "Easy. That's just a density trick." but then she looses her shit when trying to understand how Original Elsa stocks the energy obviously needed, in a scientific point of view, to BUILD AN ENTIRE ICE CASTLE IN ONE GO

Last variant I can think of (but can't wait to hear about yours) is babymagical!Elsa. A teenager who lives in a very recluded place (Earth or anywhere else) with just her horse (or the equivalent of it) and who is afraid of her powers because she never got the explanation for them. Original Elsa is more than touched and delighted to explain the whole Ahtohallan thing and she acts like a big sister with her through the whole adventure.
