what a keen observation! king of hell offering advice in the form of a fantastic idea! a low hum sounds behind pressed together lips. chair swivels far enough to allow dean to slide off onto booted feet. beer along for the ride, of course. sadly. the whiskey didn't survive the trip. the bottle's long dried up. lips twitch a knowing grin before parting far enough that a long breath can be pulled in. broad shoulders give the slightest little rise and fall. tsk, tsk, tsk! what happened to their break up era? are we skipping over that and opening up page one of reunion arc?

bluff calling? knowing taunt? fun and games? could be all three.

Her   hand   snaked   up,   two   fingers   curling   lightly   around   the   lapel   of   his   perfectly   tailored   suit.   She   then   gave   a   tug,   pulling   him   just   a   fraction   closer,   the   space   between   them   nearly   non-existent   now.   Her   smile   widened,   razor-sharp   and   full   of   mischief,   and   her   voice   dropped   to   a   near   whisper.   ❝   You   see,   I’ve   never   been   one   to   cluck   and   run.   If   you’re   going   to   throw   down   a   gauntlet   like   that,   you’d   better   be   ready   to   back   it   up.   ❞

Meg   tilted   her   head   again,   considering   him   like   a   cat   deciding   whether   or   not   to   pounce   on   its   prey.   What   exactly   was   it   about   Crowley   that   made   him   so   damn   infuriatingly   attractive   ?   She   let   her   words   linger,   her   breath   brushing   against   his   skin   with   the   smallest   hint   of   heat,   enough   to   stoke   the   embers   of   his   ego.   A   beat…   her   lips   brushed   the   corner   of   his   mouth   —   not   quite   a   kiss,   but   a   fleeting,   tantalizing   graze   that   lingered   just   long   enough   to   leave   him   wondering   what   her   lips   would   taste   like.

flash of amusement colours armand's features and it's hardly the first time such a look of... endearment has come to him as he looks at crowley. a strange exchange, some might imagine. such... sweetness between a vampire and a demon. but armand had found comfort in darkness for so long now, it came naturally. much like it came naturally to him to show his own affections through taunts and jabs.

"or, are you picking fights to garner specific attention?" brow raises on the question before armand moves again. fluid motion, drawing him closer to the demon. mind flickers with a brief thought of sliding onto lap and there is not hesitation in sharing that image no matter how brief before armand's smile widens. "not that there's anything wrong with that. i'm quite receptive to it, actually."

banged up. some blood still drying under the butterfly bandage on his forehead. a scuff or two above an eyebrow and in the hollow of his eye. a crack on his lip. little worse for wear, sure. made it out, though! all in one piece. rattled and bruised but breathin'. that's the important part. right? crowley'd seen the last of the fight. watched him catch wind and go sailing like a ragdoll missing half its stuffing. an oops of judgement and too much bravado that cost him a handful of the wounds he's sporting. no real news. s'not like he hasn't done it before. shit. might as well be part of his whole m.o. after all these years perfecting the practice of oh shit! moments.

what he hasn't perfected is mastering his reaction to the outburst from the demon now standing in front of the motel room table where he's drinking his beer. dean listens and..the way an uneven grin greets the rant is only gonna serve to get him in deeper shit but he can't help it. nor can he help.. "better be careful, crowley. keep yelling at me about my everything pissin' you off so bad? i'm bout to get the wrong idea and decide you've got a crush on me.."

ah ah ah! dean watches realization spread its wings across crowley's features. registers in the subtlest softening of features. how he's sauntered up to. prowled towards? same difference. crowley pulls off that swagger that is wholly and uniquely his own with a finesse that is equally possessed. dean's tongue flicks over his bottom lip. instinct driven by the closeness in which crowley's decided to stop. their mouths breaths apart. tempting, tempting to lean in and steal the last few inches. as well as the demon's breath from his lungs. a kiss would do that. let alone several. or how dean can already feel the plump flesh of crowley's bottom lip between his teeth long before he's even tried to latch on. oh, look what they've done! there will be stories written about them someday. if dean has anything to say about all the things crowley makes him want to do. including busting a chair or two in the funnest way a chair's ever been busted.

white teeth shine from his smile that breaks out into a bark of laughter. "double-dare? you sure you wanna," the question breaks off as fingers gently pat and toy with the perfect edge of a black tie. then drift higher to where skin meets pressed collar of matching hue. a jugular vein thrums underneath his caress. "wait. taking that question back.. let's go home. might as well say a goodbye prayer to whatever gets in our way. rest in pieces.." he hums playfully as thumb presses to bottom lip and resists the urge to nudge in further. for now.
