Ross Mountford (Working on continued)
Ross @rossmountforddesigns since graduating has continued to develop his work and practice to build upon his functional and lighting pieces. As demonstrated and seen on his own social media this has developed into creating new shapes and forms for his pieces. As these new ideas become a reality they are brought to life through 3D software Rhino and hands-on processes such as ceramic mold making and plaster lathe turning. After lockdown, he hopes to further develop and showcase his work to other galleries and will hopefully feature in future @maketoshowcase shows.
This year has been filled with collaborations with amazingly gifted women. My Henhouse lights are one such project. A challenge as I’d never created lights from clay before. The pieces I created truly made my heart sing- from the process to the shape to the glazing. And seeing them in situ with the Hague Blue walls? Be still my heart. It is an honor to have added a piece to this lovingly crafted home. Thank you @thehennhouseofwyoming and @natalieodesign for trusting me with this gorgeous project! #customlighting #ceramics #ceramiclighting #lightingdesign (at Wyoming, Ohio) https://www.instagram.com/p/CIYaCyQlmX6/?igshid=11xq35esjudnw
