she was raised in the Syndicate from a young age and abused severely by her ancestor to which she is deathly afraid of her. She’s in the process of becoming a ‘reformed’ villain because her previous motivations for being a villain was:
a) she had no other choice
b) it was all she ever knew
c) it was a means to hide her insecurities and lash out at other people
