Nino has always sort of ignored the rumors about the evil wizard that lives off in the hills in a strange moving castle, because said wizard only ever prays on pretty girls, making them fall in love with him before tearing out their hearts.
Nino is decidedly not a girl and not pretty, so he has nothing to worry about and can instead focus on his job and visiting Marinette down at the bakery and making sure that Alya doesn’t get into too much trouble while trying to figure out the details of what’s happened to that missing prince.
It also gives him a little too much free time to think about a pair of sparkling green eyes hidden behind windswept blond hair, and the dazzling smile of the wizard who’d saved him a few hours earlier on the way to Marinette’s, floating them over the streets and making Nino literally and figurative walk on clouds.
