PhD interviews are today and tomorrow in the astro department and it’s my favourite event of the year! Den Mothering all over the place I like the fuss! But it’s not my department anymore so I can’t go :( good luck little candidates! Hope they treat you well!
#I was told to do a tour of campus and I reaaaally don't know the campus well because we don't go everywhere so we kept it to the important#stuff like shops#certain buildings#how much things cost#obviously the pub and society rooms#and also one of the postdoc's mums who works on campus in a shop#the people who joined the next year said they remembered the postdoc's mum so hey it worked!#also last year there was initially poor update on helping so I emailed the other students with message starting and people came to help hah#LISTEN UP#MAGGOTS (sry you're not maggots at all but boot camp style email!)#free dinner voucher helped haha#this is why my secondary house is hufflepuff#ETA: wtf happened to these tags they were all out of order and some are missing oh well
