Certified PADI Open Water Divers

Last year, November 2015. My first time on scuba, of course, feels amazing. Opening the door to a different world. What you will feel and see are unique. Even at frequently visited dive sites you’ll see things most people never see and go where most people never go. Diving is one of the world’s most adventurous activities. And it’s now definitely an X on my bucket list. I have already dived 8 times. 

If you saw my post last week, we dived at antique for leisure. But now, not a fun dive anymore but for training and certification as a PADI Open Water Diver. And as what I’ve said, my family are scuba divers and want each one of us to be certified divers already. It takes a lot of money to become certified but special thanks to Tito Dang for the sponsor. So 2 days before we arrived home from antique, we went back again for the training. We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights and dived 3 and 2 times in a row. We reached 30.5 meters/100 ft! Conquered! And every time we ascend, we’re floating in the middle of the ocean with no fear.  It was very tiring but a very good experience. We had 4 quizzes and a final exam so we must study the PADI book every night. At the first day, we had our first quiz and practiced on beach front. Clearing our mask, inflate/deflate our BCD, and many more. We did not have so much trouble on the training because we’ve already experienced diving a couple of times.

The 4 of us including manang tata are already certified divers. 2 more left! my sister and jonathan!
