Induction. 40w3d
Going in Wednesday night to start my induction. I'm not dilated so they are going to use cervidil that night and pitocin Thursday morning. I'm fucking terrified. I really and truly don't want to be induced. I just know it will end in a c-section. I'm trying so hard to think positively but it's hard. I really want to birth my baby naturally. :(

It's crazy how many women are against medically inducing with proven methods, yet they will try EVERY ridiculous old wives tale method to go into labor early: Labor cake! Caster oil! Red raspberry leaf tea! Walking! Sex! Bouncing on birthing ball! But no cervidil or pitocin because those are evil "unnatural" methods.
Pitocin has been turned off for the night.
They're letting me eat dinner and then I have the wonderful Cervidil to look forward to again. I honestly don't know if I can do another 12 hours of that at this point. Especially if I'm going to have to deal with the constant cramps and back pain all night. I just need to sleep. I was so hoping this wouldn't happen 😭

However, use of the hormone oxytocin, and amniotomy (the deliberate rupture of the amniotic sac) -- also widely used to induce labor -- did not lower the chance of C-section.

So we saw our MFM and they recommended they induce me this week. So we go in Thurs. night for Cervidil and by Friday I'll be a mommy!! Baby B(girl) is almost head down now! She was transverse and kinda still is but now her head is like on my lower side and is more downward! I'm excited and hope I can successfully deliver them vaginally.
I'm so nervous! I think it's all sinking for both my hubby and I. We both kinda just layed in bed like omg this is it. No turning back. This is really happening.
I was also wondering which bottles you ladies recommend. I know it's kind of late in the game and I have already gotten the bornfree ones but I"m not sure if I made the right decision. The tommee tippee ones look so soft and nicer for their mouths. I bought a pack of tommee tippers to test them out too but I"m wondering if I should go ahead and get all tommee tippees.
