This is "Elsie Vivian" from the series "Lost Girls". Using soft blended colors contrasting the sharp circles to represent the facial features, I want to create dynamic figures bringing different expressions and feelings in a original way. The technique is unusual. It’s divided in two moments. First moment it’s very expressive, it’s a thin and transparent layer of painting mixed with a lot of mineral spirits, at this stage, my aim to get it as organic as possible. The second moment is very planed and designed, it’s like organizing the chaos. The silhouette is added and circles to make the facial expression.
