A question that is slightly related to your theory, if I am correct, Happy Chaos did came across the Crescent Moon guns during his time in the Backyard prior to Strive, yes? It's very likely that someone...or SOMETHING from the Backyard created those firearms, right? If Chaos wasn't the one who made the weapons, it must've belonged to someone who was a Backyard Resident. Though this is just a theory, those firearms do open more doors on the Bakcyard's secrets next to the halos.

Ramlethal's RATTLE Swords also fall under this mysterious category of us not knowing who created the weapon, only that it existed once she popped out of the Backyard.

I should also mention the Servants that served the Valentines (be it the Luciferos or the Vizuel Tribe) also appear to be Backyard-born.

Regarding Happy Chaos' involvement in the Backyard… Ishiwatari stated that after the Merciless Apocalypse drained the Original Sage of his will to fight back, she placed part of I-No's corrupted "desire" inside of him… and that is what drove him insane… and for a time he was in fact wandering the Backyard in a mad state.

It is likely that Happy Chaos discovered a great many things while wandering the Backyard before he was eventually re-absorbed in to Ariels' body.

Though we still don't know how big of an impact Happy Chaos has had on Guilty Gear's external history (during the Crusades, he was involved with Baiken's, Bedman's, and Nagoriyuki's pasts thus far).

He could also very well be tampering with other histories of other worlds as well, if the power of the Crescent Moon weapons is great enough…

It's still a mystery to what extent Happy Chaos has touched this world.
